11/18/2015 - Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian Completes Test at Daytona International Speedway

Daytona Beach, Fla. - Just six weeks following the final race of 2015, Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian was already back in action at Daytona International Speedway this week in preparation for the 2016 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. Full-season drivers John Pew and Ozz Negri as well as Rolex 24 at Daytona driver AJ Allmendinger were on hand for the two-day test at the 3.56-mile roval course as the team took its first laps with its new Honda 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 Prototype engine. Michael Shank Racing also received a brand new tub from Ligier prior to the test.

11/12/2015 - Michael Shank Racing Set for IMSA Test at Daytona International Speedway

Pataskala, Ohio - With the 2015 race season having come to a close just one month ago, Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian has already been hard at work prepping for its 2016 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship campaign. The upcoming two-day IMSA test at Daytona International Speedway (November 17-18) marks the first opportunity for on-track action as the test is the first of the 2016 IMSA championship season.

10/03/2015 - Big Team Effort from MSR in Waterlogged Petit Le Mans 

Braselton, Ga. - Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian has never wavered from its ‘never give up’ mentality, and the team’s perseverance was on full display through the Petit Le Mans event weekend at Road Atlanta as the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship staged its last race of the 2015 Championship. The final result of the race does not reflect the effort of the team over what was a very trying weekend that saw an extraordinary amount of rain at the track, but an even bigger amount of work that came from the squad with the never give up mantra.

07/06/2015 - Michael Shank Racing Heads North to Canadian Tire Motorsports Park 

Pataskala, Ohio – It was a quick turnaround for Ohio’s Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian following the Sahlen’s 6 Hours of the Glen held less than two weeks ago. And with the Glen event not having yielded the result the team had hoped for due to a broken suspension part, Michael Shank Racing heads to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) in Bowmanville, Ontario for Round 7 of the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship targeting another podium performance.

06/22/2015 - Michael Shank Racing Carries Podium Momentum to Sahlen's 6 Hours of the Glen 

Pataskala, Ohio - Michael Shank Racing rides a wave of momentum into the Sahlen’s 6 Hours of the Glen this weekend after scoring two consecutive podium results in the previous two races of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and the Streets of Belle Isle in Detroit. The Watkins Glen event marks Round 6 of the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship as well as the third round of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup. Though there hasn’t been any race action since the run through the streets of Detroit a month ago, the Michael Shank Racing squad hasn’t slowed down.

05/30/2015 - Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian Second Through the Streets of Belle Isle 

Detroit, Mi -- After showing remarkable pace but tough racing luck in the opening races of the 2015 IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season, Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian has generated momentum by scoring results to reflect that pace. The team finished third at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in the Honda-powered Ligier JS P2 earlier this month and John Pew and Ozz Negri went one better on Saturday with a run to second place in the Detroit Grand Prix on the streets of Belle Isle Park which marked Round 5 of the TUDOR Championship.

05/29/2015 - Michael Shank Racing Ready for Detroit Grand Prix at Belle Isle Park 

Pataskala, Ohio -- Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian will start sixth in the Detroit Grand Prix on Saturday after John Pew put the car on the third row of the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship grid in a quick 15-minute qualifying session Friday evening. The result was a welcome one for the team which made big gains to the No. 60 Honda-powered Ligier JS P2.

05/26/2015 - Michael Shank Racing / Curb Agajanian Bound for the Streets of Belle Isle Park 

Pataskala, Ohio -- Fresh off of a podium finish at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian is taking its No. 60 Honda-powered Ligier JS P2  to the streets of Belle Isle Park for the first time this weekend. The Chevrolet Sports Car Classic presented by Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers marks Round 5 of the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. The team and its drivers John Pew and Ozz Negri have competed at the 2.35-mile, 13-turn street course in a Daytona Prototype over the past three years. Now, the squad will take to the streets in the P2 machine. Pew and Negri placed fourth in last year’s race and fifth in its Belle Isle debut in 2012.

05/03/2015 - Michael Shank Racing / Curb Agajanian Deliver Podium Performance at Laguna Seca 

Monterey, Calif. -- Racing on a track that has been the scene of some good history for the team, Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajainian overcame contact from another Prototype to score a podium finish at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on Sunday in the Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix powered by Mazda. Michael Shank Racing drivers Ozz Negri and John Pew combined in the No. 60 Honda-powered Ligier JS P2 for a run to third place in Round 4 of the 2015 IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. The result marks the team’s best finish of the 2015 season to date since debuting the new Honda Ligier platform in the season-opening round at Daytona.

05/02/2015 - Pew Takes Career Best Qualifying Effort For MSR / Curb at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca 

Monterey, Calif. -- It was a big day for Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian on Saturday when John Pew took the No. 60 Honda-powered Ligier JS P2 to fourth on the grid for the Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The result marks Pew’s career-best qualifying position since his 2007 prototype debut with Michael Shank Racing at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

04/28/2015 - Michael Shank Racing / Curb Agajanian Bring History to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca 

Pataskala, Ohio -- With the iconic corkscrew corners, passionate and knowledgeable race fans, and proximity to some of the best seafood dining on the calendar, the annual visit to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is a highlight for all of the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship teams. The team has experienced some significant breakthroughs on the circuit, and is anticipating another big weekend again this year.

04/18/2015 - Michael Shank Racing / Curb Agajanian Sixth at Long Beach 

Long Beach, Calif. – Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian scored a sixth place finish on the streets of Long Beach on Saturday after 100-minutes of intense racing. Drivers John Pew and Ozz Negri completed the first sprint event of the season with the No. 60 Honda-powered Ligier in Round 3 of the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship.

04/18/2015 - Michael Shank Racing / Curb Agajanian Set for Long Beach Sprint 

Long Beach, Calif. - Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian will start the Tequila Patron SportsCar Showcase at Long Beach from seventh on the grid in Saturday’s 100-minute sprint race. The team arrived to Southern California looking forward to Round 3 of the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship as it debuts the No. 60 Honda-powered Ligier JS P2 at the track that holds over 40 years of racing history.

04/15/2015 - Michael Shank Racing / Curb Agajanian Bound for Long Beach 

Pataskala, Ohio -- Looking to convert some impressive speed into solid results, Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian travels 2,300 miles West from its race shop in Pataskala, Ohio this weekend to the Streets of Long Beach, California for the Tequila Patron Sports Car Showcase at Long Beach. It marks Round 3 of the 2015 IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and the first sprint race of the season.

03/21/2015 - Disappointment for MSR / Curb Agajanian in Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring 

Sebring, Fla. -- Michael Shank Racing Racing with Curb/Agajanian had been hoping for a big result in the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring on Saturday as the team debuted the No. 60 Tire Kingdom Honda-powered Ligier JS P2 in the iconic endurance event. Unfortunately, contact early on took the team out of contention for the result they had been targeting.

03/20/2015 - Huge Team Effort Puts MSR / Curb Agajanian Fourth on Grid for 12 Hours of Sebring 

Sebring Fl - It takes a team to win, and sometimes it takes one to even make it to the grid. About four and a half hours prior to qualifying at Sebring International Raceway on Friday, the Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian squad determined that there was an engine issue that would require a new motor for the No. 60 Tire Kingdom Ligier JS P2 prior to the 15-minute qualifying session.

03/16/2015 - Michael Shank Racing / Curb Agajanian Ready to Take On the 12 Hours of Sebring

But the Ohio-based squad was confident in its new package and rose to the challenge in a big way. 

01/21/2015 - Tire Kingdom Joins Mike Shank Racing at Daytona and Sebring 

Pataskala, Ohio - With a new car and motor package, a revised driver line up, and new and returning commercial partnerships, Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian already has 2015 off to a flying start before the first green flag of the season has even flown. The Ohio-based team has now added even more momentum ahead of the 2015 IMSA TUDOR United Sports Car Championship season as the 2012 Rolex 24 winning squad at Daytona has confirmed that Tire Kingdom Service Centers will be the title sponsor on the No. 60 entry in the Rolex 24 At Daytona on January 24-25 and then again at Sebring International Raceway in the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring on March 21. 

01/19/2015 - Rolex 24 at Daytona to Usher in New Era for Mike Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian 

Pataskala, Ohio - For Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian, the work has not stopped since the checkered flag dropped on the 2014 IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship at Road Atlanta last October. It has been perhaps the busiest off season to date for the Ohio-based organization, which took on a big challenge when the team switched to a Honda-powered Ligier JS P2 car for the 2015 season.

01/07/2015 - Mike Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian Completes First Successful Tests with Honda-Ligier 

Pataskala, Ohio - Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian got the 2015 IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season off to a strong start this week as the team took its first laps in the No. 60 Honda-powered Ligier PS J2 on Monday and Tuesday. Drivers John Pew, Ozz Negri, AJ Allmendinger, and Michael Shank Racing newcomer Matt McMurry were all on hand at Palm Beach International Raceway to shake down the new machine. Each logged plenty of laps around the 10-turn, 2.034-mile road course in preparation for 2015.
