Watkins Glen, NY - Michael Shank Racing finished the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series Canadian Tire 200 in fifth and ninth place on Saturday as the two team entries ran a flat-out pace in a race that set a new record for the highest-ever average speed in GRAND-AM history.

Lakeville, Conn. - Michael Shank Racing driver John Pew posted a career-best qualifying result on Memorial Day Monday as he pushed the No. 60 Crown Royal XR Ford-Riley to sixth on the Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve grid at Lime Rock Park. The 2.75-hour race will come hard on the heels of the 15-minute qualifying session, with a 2:00 PM ET green flag time (SPEED, LIVE).

Danville, VA - Michael Shank Racing drivers John  Pew and Ozz Negri shook off some challenging weather and a brief off-course  excursion to score a lead-lap sixth place finish in the Bosch Engineering 250 at  VIR on Saturday in round four of the 2011 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series  championship. The result matches the previous round finish as the No. 60 Crown  Royal XR Ford-Riley avoided any of the significant trouble that befell some  competitors and added a solid collection of championship points as the team  looks forward to the next race at Lime Rock Park.

Homestead, FL -   Michael Shank Racing will pursue a return to the Homestead-Miami Speedway podium from the fourth and fifth rows in the Grand Prix of Miami on Saturday after the starting grid was set with a 15 minute qualifying session on Friday. John Pew held up his end of the bargain in the No. 60 Crown Royal Ford-Riley as he set the ninth-fastest time of the combined GT and DP class field with a 1:15.921-second tour of the 2.3-mile oval-based road course.

While the South Florida track is a long haul away from the still snow-encrusted Michael Shank Racing home base in Columbus, Ohio, the Grand Prix of Miami marks the home event for both Pew and Negri, who lives in Miami with Pew living a little bit further up the coast in North Palm Beach.

Homestead, Fl - Michael Shank Racing driver John Pew will be appearing at the monthly meeting of the Southern Automotive Media Association  (SAMA) luncheon as a guest of Homestead-Miami Speedway this Friday. Pew will be on hand to talk about the upcoming Miami Grand Prix (March 5, SPEED 12:00 PM ET), which will mark round two of the 2011 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series championship season. Pew and co-driver Ozz Negri opened the year with a run to tenth in the season-opening Rolex 24 At Daytona and will look to build the momentum with a strong run at Homestead-Miami Speedway next month.
