After starting from tenth on the grid, John Pew drove an outstanding opening stint with the No. 6 MSR Ford/Riley to move up to fourth in the order before turning the controls over to co-driver Michael Valiante, who fought with the lead pack in a thrilling late-race battle to take third place in the Porsche 250 Barber Motorsports Park on Sunday.

One side of the two-car Michael Shank Racing two-car Daytona Prototype Rolex 24 campaign came to a disappointing and early ending on Saturday evening as the No. 6 Ford-Riley of John Pew, Michael Valiante, AJ Allmendinger and Ian James did not finish the race after being forced to retire from the lead of the race just after the five-hour mark.
